General Administration

Where can I put my bookbag and other belongings when I come to take an exam?

  • Due to limited space, it is recommended that you do not bring items not permitted for your exam to the testing center. Phones will be needed if you have DUO authentication.
  • Lockers that have keys hanging from them are available for use.
  • If there is not a locker available you are welcome to leave your belongings along the wall or under/on a bench.
  • Note that DELTA testing is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. If at all possible, please leave valuable belongings in your vehicle.

“Hi. I am on the way to the testing center, but I forgot my student I.D. Can I show you a picture on my phone or something?”

  • “No. We will accept a driver’s license, passport, military or other government-issued I.D. But, we do not accept I.D.s from other institutions or places of employment.”

“Do you have a printer I can use there?”

  • Centennial – “No. If you need to make a copy of a document the closest place to copy personal items is the Hunt Library.”
  • Cox Hall – “No. The nearest location to print or make copies is D. H. Hill.”

Parking, Hours, & Directions:

“Where can I park?”

  • On Centennial Campus – “There are 3 pay lots within walking distance to the testing center. One on Capability Drive, Partners Way, and the Poulton Deck. If you need directions to the lots, they can be found on our website: go.ncsu.edu/testing”

“Where can I park if I have a handicap tag?”

  • On Centennial Campus: “Handicap students with proper decals may park in the Venture Center Parking Deck (Near the visitor parking)”.

“What are your hours?”

  • “Testing is by appointment ONLY. Each location’s hours of operation can be found on our website (go.ncsu.edu/testinghours).”

Appointments:

“What if I missed my appointment?”

  • “If you cannot make an appointment or have missed an appointment and now all times are full, please contact your instructor for further guidance”.

“I am running late for my appointment. Will I still be able to take my exam?”

  • If you can make it within the 15 minute grace period, then yes. If not, then you will need to contact your instructor for an extension or schedule another appointment space permitting.
    • Note: During peak hours, like midterms or final exams, space may be limited to accommodate students who miss or do not make an appointment. These students should be directed to their instructor for guidance.
